I joined Evolve Fitness in June 2017, after struggling on my own for too long. I had slowly put on weight over the last few years since university, and woke up one morning realizing I was no longer happy with myself, or where I was heading. I first joined a big gym, and started working out on my own and trying to eat healthy. But between a lack of motivation, a too-busy lifestyle, and not really knowing the right things to do, I was getting nowhere fast. I needed some coaching and guidance, and heard great things about Evolve, so I met with Matt to talk about some personal training sessions. Within five minutes of first walking in the door, I knew this was the place I needed to be. Matt was so friendly and welcoming and it was such a relaxed atmosphere. I was able to get started right away with Alan as my trainer, and I have learned so much from him and Matt and Mitch about nutrition and exercise. Before coming to Evolve, I had been neglecting my health and fitness and put on 20 pounds in a year. I tried Goodlife but found it difficult to find the motivation to get there after work. In August 2015 I gave up my membership in favor of Evolve and am now in the best shape of my life. What I love most about Evolve is that each trainer goes above and beyond for every one of their clients.
