Reframe
A 12-Week Group Program for Sustainable Weight + Eating Change
If you've spent years thinking about food, dieting, restarting, and self-correcting — Reframe was built for you.
Reframe is a 12-week small-group medical program that helps you relearn how to create positive, supportive eating experiences — so you can spend more of your life living, and less of it negotiating with rules, guilt, and "start again Monday" thinking.
Reframe With Dr. Gina Brown
This isn't another diet. It's a structured, evidence-based behavior change program that pairs:
- Cognitive + psychological skills
- Values-driven goal setting
- Appetite and metabolism education
- Self-monitoring of meaningful health data
- Ongoing reflection on how your real life shapes your eating
All delivered in a supportive, stigma-free group environment.
Why 12 Weeks?
Research shows that the most effective weight and behavior-change programs:
- Include at least 12+ sessions over ~6 months
- Use group-based learning and support
- Include structured self-monitoring and goal tracking
- Help participants develop skills for the environments they live in
High-intensity, multi-component group programs like this are consistently associated with:
- 5–10% clinically meaningful weight loss
- Better long-term maintenance
- Stronger engagement and confidence
- Reduced regain when support continues over time
Our 12-week format builds a solid foundation for change, while preparing you for long-term maintenance, self-trust, and continued support.
What Makes Reframe Different?
Instead of asking you to fight your biology or rely on willpower, we help you understand:
- Your personal values + life priorities
- How stigma and bias have shaped your story
- Your Life Weight range — not a single target number
- How appetite, glucose, insulin, stress, and emotion influence eating
- How to design satisfying vs. reactive eating experiences
- How to build resilience when life gets hard
- How movement supports mood, sleep, and regulation
Built for real life — shift work, travel, busy seasons, family chaos, limited kitchen access, holidays, and everything in between. It needed to be practical, flexible, kind — and short enough to fit real life, while still grounded in the strongest evidence for behavior change.
Reframe helps you:
- Replace shame with understanding
- Trade rigidity for confidence
- Shift from perfection → progress
- Rebuild a calmer relationship with food, body, and life
Diet culture has taken enough of your time and attention. This program is our effort to help you take that time back — so your days can be filled with your life, not with correcting, tracking, or negotiating your worth.

How The Program Works
On-Boarding Process
Reframe is a personalized, clinically grounded program designed to help you create sustainable change in your health, habits, and mindset around weight loss. To make sure you get the most out of the program, all participants begin with an initial naturopathic assessment. Here's what to expect.
Express Interest
Once you decide Reframe might be a good fit, you'll be invited to complete a short intake form. This helps understand your goals, health history, and what you're hoping to work on through the program. This step is quick and allows us to make sure Reframe is aligned with your needs before moving forward.
Initial Naturopathic Assessment (Required)
All Reframe clients begin with a one-on-one initial naturopathic assessment. This session allows us to:
- Review your health history and current concerns
- Understand lifestyle, stress, and environmental factors
- Clarify your goals and priorities
- Create a personalized clinical foundation for your Reframe plan
This appointment also establishes our practitioner–patient relationship and allows eligible services to be billed under naturopathic benefits, depending on your insurance coverage.
What to know:
Length: 30–45 minutes
Format: Virtual or in-person
Billing: Billed as a standard initial naturopathic assessment
Program Orientation
After your assessment, you will begin the program orientation. Before you officially start, you'll receive an orientation to Reframe. This resource walks you through:
- How the program works
- What support is included
- How to get the most out of your time in Reframe
Program Format
Each week in Reframe has a specific focus or theme. This may include areas such as:
- Building awareness around patterns and triggers
- Supporting nervous system regulation and stress resilience
- Nutrition, energy, and metabolic support
- Habit change and sustainable routines
- Mindset shifts and reframing unhelpful thought loops
You'll always know what the focus is for the week and how it connects to your larger goals.
Group Appointment
Each week has an in-person or virtual (your choice) session that provides education related to the weekly focus, guidance and practical strategies, and space to ask questions and learn from shared experiences.
Individual Integration & Practice
Between sessions, you'll be invited to apply what you're learning in a realistic, supportive way. This includes:
- Weekly workbooks and reflection prompts
- Simple reflection prompts
- Small, doable habit experiments
- Tools to support your goals
Depending on the week, you may also have access to:
- Guided resources (audio, worksheets, or short videos)
- Optional check-ins for accountability and support
- FoodRx tracking to help you gain insights into your dietary habits and patterns (not mandatory)
These elements are designed to enhance your experience, not overwhelm it.
Ongoing Support & Follow-Ups
As you move through the 12-week Reframe program, you can always book in additional follow-up visits to support your process. These visits focus on reassessment, education, and guidance to help you reach your goals. They are not a mandatory component of the program, but can be a great tool to help keep you on track.
A Note on Coverage
Many clients are able to submit naturopathic visits to their extended health benefits. Coverage varies by plan. Please note that group medical appointments are only eligible for naturopathic benefit coverage if you have completed an initial naturopathic assessment. This assessment establishes care and is required by insurers before any group-based medical visits can be billed.
Ready to Begin?
If Reframe feels like the right next step, start by booking your initial naturopathic assessment or reaching out with any questions. We'll take it from there — together.
