The annual Evolve Fitness holiday fundraiser
FlexThe Halls
What 2025 added up to
- $25,000
- To the YWCA Halifax gender-based violence fund
- $12,000
- Spent on new toys for the FX101.9 + Kent Toy Drive
- 2 truckloads
- Of toys donated on top of that, straight from our clients
Where the money goes
Who we’re giving to this year
The toy drive is a constant. The other recipients change year to year, so the money keeps reaching new corners of the community.
Confirmed
FX101.9 + Kent Toy Drive
Back again. Toys and gifts for kids across HRM who would otherwise go without on Christmas morning. Last year we bought $12,000 worth, and our clients donated two truckloads on top.
To be announced
A new cause for 2026
We’re choosing a new recipient this year rather than repeating. Last year this share went to YWCA Halifax’s gender-based violence fund — $25,000 of it.
To be announced
A Truro toy drive
A local drive in Truro so the community around our Truro location feels it too. Partner still to be confirmed.
How to get involved
Five ways to help
Some of these need a ticket. Most of them don’t. You don’t have to be an Evolve member for any of them.
Come to the party
A night of giving, food and entertainment. Last year sold out at Cable Wharf in Halifax and every ticket dollar went straight to the causes.
The 2026 date and venue are being locked in now.
Bid in the online silent auction
An incredible pile of donated items, all bid on online. You don’t need a ticket and you don’t need to be a member — it’s open to anyone, anywhere.
100% of what the auction brings in goes to the causes.
Work out with us for a donation
In the month leading up to the event, drop in to any Evolve location and pay with a toy or a donation instead of a membership. Non-members only.
Applies to boot camps, cardio classes, spin and hybrid only. See schedules by location.
Just donate
Can’t make the workouts or the auction? Give any amount and we’ll add it to the totals on your behalf. This one is open year-round.
Book a service at Evolve Integrated Health
Book something you’ve been meaning to book anyway, and we donate on your behalf. Same price to you.

Giving back is the whole point
We had parents who shaped our childhood, and teachers and coaches who went above and beyond without ever asking for anything back. Our high school basketball coach picked us up at home every morning for three years so we could practice before class. That’s one example of many.
Then we started a gym, and it filled up with people who are just as generous — clients who show up for their community without being asked.
So it only makes sense to use the platform we have to do some good. It’s our promise that we’ll keep doing everything we can to give back, and to encourage anyone who can to do the same.
Thank you for being here, and for being part of something that means this much to us.
Thank you
