Samara Fougere
Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac)
Samara is a Registered Acupuncturist in Nova Scotia who graduated from CCATCM in 2023 and is in good standing with the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.
She treats from the perspective that everything is connected — body, mind, and environment — taking the whole picture into account to get to the root of imbalance and help clients feel better and maintain lasting wellness.
Her treatments support a range of concerns, including acute and chronic pain, digestive and immune issues, low energy, sleep disturbances, menstrual and menopausal imbalances, and emotional well-being. She is also trained in Reiki energy work (Level 2), which gently complements her treatments when appropriate.
Outside of her practice, Samara enjoys spending time in nature, travelling, watching live music, and practicing yoga.
What to Expect
How the Session Flows
We’ll start with an intro to the needles — what they feel like and an open chance to ask any questions — followed by a simple box-breathing sequence you can follow throughout your treatment.
The same 4–6 acupuncture points are needled on everyone. Needles rest for about 20 minutes while calming music plays — exactly like a regular treatment, simply shared in a group setting.
Once everyone is settled, Samara guides a 5–10 minute body scan, then cues you to rest and relax deeply for the remainder of the treatment.
Needles are removed and you’re guided softly back to the room — much like the close of a yoga class after savasana.
We close with about 5 minutes for any questions or to share your experience, if you’d like.
What to bring: Your own yoga mat, blanket, pillow — whatever helps you feel most comfortable and at ease. Wear something relaxed and easy to settle into.
Spots are limited to 6–10 people to keep the space calm and intimate. Reserve yours with a donation below.
